Our Project Management experience covers all types of domestic and commercial build projects in the UK as well as overseas, in Saudi Arabia and Romania; from Grade 1 listed buildings to new build homes to high-rise commercial premises. With over 35 years of Project Management experience we have covered all areas of the Design & Build process, from conception to completion and handover, installing all types of ECO sustainable methods from solar power to rainwater harvesting to also assisting with Sales & Marketing.

The process starts with a free consultation service at conception stage to discuss the vision, design and concepts, planning issues, construction systems and methods, contracts and budget. Throughout this meeting the Project Manager will offer advice, suggestions and possible solutions.

Once the conceptual scheme has been established the Project Manager will move forward by engaging the relevant consultant team of Architects, Engineers, Surveyors, Civil Works and Utilities, by means of negotiating and the tendering process, to establish the best qualified and cost effective means of all the processes.

The Project Manager will monitor the planning process and once achieved will then activate a tendering process for all contractors involved in the construction process. All suppliers, contractors’ references and backgrounds will be checked as being fully suitable and all statutory Health & Safety regulations are met, plus relevant Insurances and Guarantees are in place with selected suppliers.

Throughout the life of the project, the Project Manager will chair regular meetings on site with all contractors, keeping photo logs, issue site minutes relating to all elements on Cost-Programme-Quality. Arrange for the client to view material at suppliers and samples where required, record all information for clarification, approval and implementation.

This one point of contact for the client gives clear concise explanations on all the elements of the design, build methods and systems, which will lead up to a smooth running and successful completed project to Canter Homes exacting standards and the clients’ total satisfaction.
